MOC, “Pack Rats” Pup Tent 8 is the “Honor Degree” of VFW Post 7564 of West Fargo, ND. A Cootie is selected from the VFW Post membership by the Cootie Pup Tent. They are the most dedicated members who perform duties involving the aid to hospitalized veterans, providing blood, and working VFW membership, in addition to the various VFW projects within the Post and community.

Larry Childs was elected as Seam Squirrel of Military Order of Cooties Pup Tent 8, West Fargo. He is married to Linda, current President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. The Childs have lived in West Fargo for 9 years and have 3 grown children and 2 granddaughters. Larry is a life member of Colfax VFW. He served in the Marines with service in Vietnam. He is retired from the ND Air National Guard and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
