Leading the West Fargo VFW as Post Commander is Bert Hanson, an Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. Bert met his wife, Lynda, in Oklahoma and they moved to West Fargo in 1972. They have 3 children, Mike, Mathew, and Kristina and have 9 grandchildren. Bert has been employed at Cass County Electric for 35 years.
